In 1850 Johannes Fassmer set up his own business\u00a0with plenty of shipbuilding competence, energy and perseverance. The company business in those early years focused on small wooden boats and life-boats. Today Holger and Harald Fassmer lead a company with more than 1,500 employees in the fifth generation and have gained an excellent national and international reputation.<\/p>\n<p>Fassmer USA is the Americans\u2019 headquarters of the 170 year old Fassmer organization. Fassmer USA was started in 2008 and is currently housed in approx. 20,000 sq. foot facility.
